Laurel Park Tournament Success
What an incredible weekend for Laurel Park, especially our girls section who were out in force at summer Tournaments.
The U13 Hurricanes were at the Ashridge Park tournament and won the A tournament.
And our girls section attended the Tilehurst Panthers Tournament en masse over the 2 days and absolutely made the most of it!
On Saturday the U14 Starz won the Trophy competition for the second year in a row, beating Down Grange 3-2 on penalties in the final.
And our new U7 Starz entered the U8s tournament. Despite playing up a year they managed to win the Plate Trophy.
Today we carried on where we left off. The U9 Starz continued the run winning their Cup.
Then the U18 Vipers saw off a very strong Yateley United Ladies FC team to win the ladies tournament.
And then to close off the weekend the U13 Starz battled through 2 penalty shootouts, both of which went to sudden death, to clinch the Trophy competition.
A fantastic tournament and extremely well ran!
Some amazing football played this weekend by all the teams. Well done to all of those players, I can't wait to see all this silverware at the Fun Day.
